Work Environment

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team that collaborates closely to ensure the best outcomes for every patient. With a standard weekly schedule of 40 hours, our therapists also work variable weekends as needed to meet patient needs and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' conditions to develop effective, individualized treatment plans based on functional limitations and disabilities.
• Provide consultations to healthcare providers on patients' care and continuum treatment strategies.
• Interact professionally and empathetically with patients of all ages, respecting cultural differences and adhering to our exceptional customer service standards.
• Perform evaluations, interpret findings, and implement treatment plans, ensuring regular re-evaluations and modifications as necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress, compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and maintain open communication with referral sources and physicians regarding patient care.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives and represent Strong Bodies Physical Therapy through marketing and program development efforts.
• Participate in professional development activities, including staff meetings, continuing education, and in-service training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with range from post-surgical rehabilitation to those coping with chronic conditions and functional limitations. Our focus is on patient-centered care, and you will be encouraged to involve patients and their families actively in the treatment and discharge planning process. This relational approach aims to enhance recovery and improve overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation systems.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and collaborate within a team-based environment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
