Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, taking into account their individual health histories and physical capabilities.
• Develop and implement customized treatment programs addressing a range of needs, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Deliver quality therapeutic interventions, applying evidence-based methodologies to enhance recovery and maintain ongoing assessments of patient progress.
• Provide hands-on care and instruction, utilizing various therapeutic techniques aimed at improving functionality and reducing pain.
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient information and track treatment outcomes.
• Engage with patients and their families to educate on home exercises, self-management techniques, and overall wellness strategies.
• Support team objectives by actively participating in case reviews, contributing to quality assurance, and achieving utilization goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will impact a diverse patient population, ranging from children requiring physical rehabilitation for developmental delays to older adults navigating post-surgical recovery. You will address the unique challenges faced by each demographic, tailoring your therapeutic approach to assist them in reclaiming their independence and improving their quality of life. Your expertise will guide them through critical phases of healing, ensuring they feel supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Active state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proficient computer and documentation ability.
• Commitment to building strong therapeutic alliances with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is required.
• Experience in specialized treatment areas such as orthopedics, pediatrics, sports medicine, or neurology is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, our compensation package includes:
