Work Environment

This role will be based in the patient's home setting, allowing you to carry out vital therapeutic interventions in an environment that is comfortable and familiar to them. This setting will require adaptability as you develop and implement treatment sessions while addressing various patient-specific challenges. You'll be equipped with modern tools and resources to provide effective therapy and tracking, including EMR software specifically designed for our operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' conditions, understanding their goals and needs, and develop comprehensive treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and personalized therapy sessions.
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities, reducing reliance on medications and exploring holistic alternatives when appropriate.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs that support the unique lifestyle and requirements of each patient.
• Engage patients through motivational techniques, fostering a spirit of collaboration to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Document patient progress meticulously to ensure continuity of care and effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, making necessary adjustments to improve recovery and mobility.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care and cohesive treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions requiring rehabilitation. Your work will focus on helping each patient restore their range of motion and functional capabilities, while also contributing to their long-term health through preventative care strategies.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Proven track record of professional integrity, with no history of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a comprehensive understanding of therapeutic interventions.
• Excellent skills in developing and executing exercise protocols tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to manage patient records and treatment plans effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Experience in developing home exercise programs to maximize patient outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits
