Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that aim to relieve pain, restore functionality, and prevent future disabilities for clients recovering from orthopedic issues.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional levels through diagnostic evaluations that include muscle, nerve, joint, and mobility testing.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in the delivery of care, ensuring adherence to established treatment protocols and safety practices.
• Evaluate and adapt rehabilitation programs based on ongoing patient progress, and make recommendations for adjustments to the care plans as necessary.
• Educate clients and their families on home exercise programs and the proper use of therapeutic devices, enhancing their engagement in the recovery process.
• Document all clinical assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans accurately to maintain comprehensive patient records and comply with healthcare regulations.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on holistic treatment strategies that address all facets of patient care.
• Maintain open lines of communication with physicians and case managers to ensure synchronized care efforts and timely updates on patient status.
• Keep current with best practices and innovations in physical therapy, particularly within the orthopedic specialty.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Florida licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
