Work Environment

This position requires an onsite presence, allowing our Physical Therapist to engage with patients in their homes. This setting allows for a personalized approach to rehabilitation and recovery, where therapists can observe and adapt treatment based on real-life challenges patients face daily. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, providing a scheduled routine that supports a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' individual goals and physical conditions to tailor effective rehabilitation plans.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, focusing on in-depth diagnostics and personalized treatment protocols.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions aimed at enhancing range of motion and functional mobility.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, integrating diverse therapeutic techniques aligned with patients' unique needs.
• Utilize manual therapy and exercise prescription strategies to maximize patient outcomes while minimizing reliance on medications or surgical interventions.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment journeys, encouraging adherence to prescribed exercise regimens and self-care strategies.
• Document all patient interactions, progress, and treatment outcomes accurately and efficiently using electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care and continuity in treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapist will work primarily with outpatient orthopedic patients of diverse backgrounds and varying ages, focusing on rehabilitation and restoration of functional mobility after injuries or surgeries. The demographic spans active adults, seniors, and those recovering from sports-related injuries, making adaptability and empathy crucial in fostering effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No disciplinary actions on record with regulatory boards.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and the effective design of exercise rehabilitation programs.
• Experience and competency with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in utilizing innovative treatment methods to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
