Work Environment

This position is onsite, and your primary work setting will be in our clients' homes throughout Deltona, Florida. As a key member of our outpatient team, you will utilize specialized skills in a one-on-one environment that encourages personal patient interaction and holistic care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that address patients' unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques to facilitate patient recovery, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Maintain an appropriate patient caseload, ensuring that each patient receives adequate time and attention for optimal care.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and strategies to manage pain and enhance physical function.
• Promote non-surgical alternative approaches as a means to decrease reliance on pharmacological solutions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers, to create a cohesive treatment environment.
• Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans based on observed outcomes and patient feedback.
• Document all treatment interactions using EMR software effectively, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining precise patient records.
• Encourage patients to adhere to their exercise regimens and wellness initiatives, fostering a culture of health and activity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will include a diverse range of individuals seeking outpatient physical therapy services, often following surgical procedures, injury rehabilitation, or chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. (Doctorate level is highly preferred).
• An active Physical Therapist license in Florida (FL), free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstration of expertise in handling orthopedic cases and a strong understanding of outpatient physical therapy practices.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques.
• Proven ability to create and implement effective exercise programs based on patient assessment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health care settings is an advantage.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.
• Current knowledge of recent advancements in physical therapy techniques and best practices.

Compensation and Benefits
