Licensed Outpatient Physical Therapist - Full-Time Position

Position Overview

Pace Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Deltona, Florida location. This full-time role offers an opportunity to provide personalized care and rehabilitation services in an outpatient clinic setting. As a Physical Therapist, you will assess, treat, and manage the rehabilitation of patients dealing with various musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions.

You will be working onsite at our outpatient office located in Deltona, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing medical histories, performing assessments, and devising individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate findings and treatment protocols effectively to patients and their families, actively involving them in goal-setting to ensure tailored rehabilitation.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement treatment protocols and adjust plans based on ongoing assessments and changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals when needed, documenting any changes in patient status that may require updates to the treatment plan or further medical consultation.
• Backed by a dedicated administrative team, ensure timely documentation of patient treatments, including initial evaluations, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Adhere to productivity expectations while managing your schedule efficiently and maintaining punctuality for all meetings.
• Contribute to departmental goals, actively participating in quality improvement initiatives and compliance with regulations from governing bodies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education to enhance your skills and contribute to the overall competency of our team.
• Deliver excellent customer service to improve patient access and satisfaction, promoting a culture of responsiveness and flexibility.
• Take initiative to resolve barriers to patient care, engaging actively in initiatives that enhance access to rehabilitation services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient clinic serves a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. You will have the opportunity to develop significant relationships with patients, guiding them through their recovery journey and incorporating their unique needs into personalized therapy plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Certification as required for the specific practice location.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is required.
• A passion for patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

• While prior work experience is not mandatory, any clinical internship or hands-on training during your education will be beneficial.
• Experience in outpatient settings or working with orthopedic patients is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
