Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is based in our outpatient office located in Deltona, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Implement clinical interventions utilizing cutting-edge techniques and therapies that promote recovery and improve physical function.
• Engage collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to enhance treatment outcomes, ensuring a multi-faceted approach to patient care.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their caregivers, empowering them to take charge of their recovery and rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, assessments, and treatment plans, using our electronic health record system to enhance communication and coordination of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine concerns. Your expertise will help various age groups, from children to senior adults, addressing conditions that affect mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. Building strong relationships with patients is foundational to our practice and vital for helping them achieve their functional goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current State License in Physical Therapy, proving your qualifications to practice in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from an approved provider.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation and scheduling.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of clinical experience in a outpatient physical therapy setting.
• Previous experience treating a varied patient demographic and presenting conditions, enhancing your adaptability and skills.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly desirable, providing you with advanced knowledge and clinical expertise.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety during treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

Texoma Care Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, the following benefits are available:
