Work Environment

You will work in an onsite outpatient office setting conveniently located in Deltona, Florida, which provides a supportive and collaborative atmosphere for our team of dedicated professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient evaluations and formulate comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and functional goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to effectuate recovery and promote independence.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in executing the prescribed treatment plans, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously; adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Evaluate physical therapy devices and recommend appropriate modifications to enhance patient functionality, and ensure proper usage and understanding of such devices by clients and their families.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights to improve holistic patient care and management.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with organizational policies.
• Engage with clients and their families, providing education on rehabilitation processes and fostering a supportive environment throughout their treatment journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient clients requiring physical rehabilitation due to a variety of diagnoses, including orthopedic, neurological, and post-operative conditions. The aim is to restore function, enhance mobility, and promote independence through evidence-based practices and compassionate care. You will work closely with patients of all ages, creating individualized treatment plans that respect their personal goals and preferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience, particularly in outpatient or acute care settings.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and continuous professional development.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in outpatient settings specifically, as well as those who exhibit strong organizational and communication skills. Compensation and Benefits
