Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Core Impact, you will be responsible for:

• Evaluating patients' physical conditions and needs through comprehensive assessments based on physician referrals.
• Developing, implementing, and modifying individualized treatment plans that align with best practices and physician directives.
• Treating a diverse patient population, which may include individuals with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions, ensuring each patient receives targeted therapy aimed at restoring their functional abilities.
• Exemplifying excellent customer service and fostering effective communication with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members to enhance the treatment process.
• Strengthening patient outcomes by utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating with other specialists when necessary.
• Educating patients and their caregivers on rehabilitation techniques, ensuring understanding and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Meeting key performance indicators and contributing to departmental goals by actively engaging in a collaborative environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our ideal candidates will work closely with a variety of patients at different stages of recovery. This may include young athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries, elderly individuals recovering from surgery, and those with chronic illnesses requiring ongoing support. You will play a vital role in creating customized therapy plans that not only address specific conditions but also consider the physical and emotional needs of each patient.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA or CAPTE.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients, their families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in technology with good word processing skills, enabling knowledgeable use of electronic health records and telehealth services.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
