Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized 1-to-1 patient care, tailoring therapies to meet specific patient needs and goals.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of clinical services, including treatment plans, billing submissions, and interdisciplinary communications.
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and all members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive understanding of treatment progress and adjustments.
• Showcase advanced clinical knowledge and competence during patient encounters, addressing varying degrees of physical therapy needs.
• Adhere to regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements, including HIPAA standards, Medicare regulations, and proper billing and coding practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will interact primarily with adults and children who are recovering from injuries, surgical procedures, or chronic conditions. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing their functional abilities and quality of life, providing them with the tools and strategies they need for successful rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Florida Physical Therapy license.
• Proven clinical experience, specifically one or more years in an acute care hospital setting.
• Strong foundation in anatomy and physiology, with demonstrated proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques.
• Ability and willingness to work effectively with pediatric populations.

Preferred Experience

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is preferred, reflecting advanced knowledge and expertise in the field.
• Experience with evidence-based practices and methodologies to effectively enhance patient care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits
