Our facility boasts modern 5000 square feet of state-of-the-art sports medicine resources, structured to support extensive rehabilitation. Our team is composed of experienced professionals, including two licensed physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, all devoted to providing patients with exceptional care while fostering a motivating and encouraging environment.

Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our rehabilitation center in Sanford, offering an engaging atmosphere where collaboration and teamwork are paramount. Our setting is designed to facilitate healing and growth, allowing both staff and patients to thrive. The ideal work schedule consists of weekdays, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, maintaining a balanced approach to work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific orthopedic needs.
• Manage a scheduled caseload, ensuring high-quality care is delivered efficiently with an emphasis on seeing one patient per hour.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies focused on improving patients' range of motion and mobility, while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Employ a variety of evidence-based interventions and manual therapy techniques to ensure optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs that promote patient engagement and long-term health benefits.
• Monitor treatment progress, adjust care plans as necessary, and maintain clear and thorough documentation of patient interactions and outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive care strategy that aligns with the broader health needs of patients.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, instilling confidence and encouraging strong adherence to treatment protocols.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle choices that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and overall physical coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As part of our orthopedic practice, you will primarily work with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Many of our clients come to us with private medical insurance, allowing for an extensive range of treatment options to support their recovery. Your responsibilities will directly influence their rehabilitation journey, enabling them to regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of a valid Florida license as a Physical Therapist.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions by the licensing board.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Experience with WebPT electronic medical recording software will be regarded favorably.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of relevant experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in creating and managing effective rehabilitation strategies tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
