Position Overview

Rebound Physiotherapy Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Sanford, Florida. This full-time position will see you working primarily with outpatient orthopedic patients, aiming to help them restore mobility and improve their quality of life. You will engage with patients on a personal level, guiding them through their rehabilitation journey while utilizing evidence-based practices to optimize treatment outcomes.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Sanford, Florida. Our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and offers a professional, patient-centric atmosphere. You will collaborate closely with a team of highly qualified physical therapists, working in a setting designed to foster professional growth and enthusiastic patient engagement. Our typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' musculoskeletal conditions, identifying their goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a caseload of patients, ensuring one-on-one attention to enhance the effectiveness of treatment sessions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities appropriate for orthopedic conditions.
• Utilize EMR software, such as WebPT, to document patient progress, treatments administered, and outcomes.
• Provide education on injury prevention, pain management strategies, and wellness initiatives that encourage a healthy lifestyle.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each patient, thereby enhancing the overall treatment experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. This includes a diverse range of clients, from athletes needing to regain peak performance to older adults seeking improved mobility for daily activities. Your ability to foster trust and motivate patients will be crucial as their success relies on your compassionate guidance and expertise.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy skills and the design/implementation of individualized exercise programs.
• Experience using electronic medical record systems, specifically WebPT, to maintain organized and accurate patient documentation.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying current with best practices in the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience working with diverse populations and a solid understanding of common orthopedic conditions.
• Adept at developing tailored wellness programs that enhance patient recovery and promote long-term health.

Compensation and Benefits

Your compensation will range from USD 90,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
