Active Life Physical Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation facility in Sanford, Florida. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment recommendations to patients and their families, encouraging participation in setting achievable goals.
• Implement treatment protocols effectively, adapting approaches as necessary based on ongoing assessments and patient progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, documenting any changes in patients' conditions that may require adjustments to their treatment plans.
• Manage all aspects of discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring that documented patient care activities provide a clear outline of progress and outcomes.
• Organize and maintain a productive work schedule, meeting departmental productivity expectations and participating in community outreach initiatives to enhance patient access to care.
• Engage in professional development activities including continuing education, and mentorship, by serving as a clinical instructor for students and junior staff.
• Actively contribute to the achievement of departmental goals while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center serves a diverse patient population comprising individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Patients may include those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletes seeking rehabilitation from sports injuries, and individuals managing chronic musculoskeletal pain. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• Current licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in specialized orthopedic rehabilitation methods.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Prior involvement in community outreach or educational initiatives related to physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
