Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and maximizing patient function according to physician directives.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical capabilities through diagnostic tests focused on muscles, nerves, joints, and functional abilities.
• Oversee and guide physical therapy assistants in the execution of treatment protocols, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
• Evaluate and adapt therapeutic interventions based on clinical observations and patient feedback.
• Instruct clients in therapeutic exercises and daily activities while motivating them to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Administer advanced treatment modalities including manual therapy techniques, assistive devices fitting, and modifications based on patient needs.
• Document and maintain accurate clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, care plans, and discharge summaries.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to coordinate comprehensive treatment strategies for clients.
• Provide ongoing education to clients and their families regarding treatment plans, home care protocols, and device utilization.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and integrate them into daily patient care.
