Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist at our onsite rehabilitation facility, you will work alongside a dynamic team comprising two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and establish functional goals tailored to each individual's capabilities and aspirations.
• Manage a patient caseload of 2-3 individuals per hour, ensuring timely and effective therapy that prioritizes recovery and enhancement of mobility.
• Implement treatment plans that emphasize orthopedic outpatient care, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to optimize outcomes.
• Work closely with patients to design personalized fitness and wellness programs that focus on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Incorporate non-invasive treatment modalities aimed at minimizing reliance on prescription medication and enhancing overall health and wellness.
• Document patient progress rigorously, analyzing treatment outcomes and adjusting care strategies to ensure optimal recovery trajectories.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to integrate multi-disciplinary approaches for comprehensive patient care.
• Foster relationships with patients through encouragement, motivation, and education, inspiring them to engage actively in their wellness journeys.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems like WebPT for efficient patient management and record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient demographic, primarily focusing on athletes and active individuals who require rehabilitation for sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, or post-operative recoveries. Our clinic emphasizes a holistic approach to treatment that respects individual needs while aiming for swift and safe recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida without any ongoing disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in outpatient orthopedic care.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to efficiently document patient care and treatment outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience providing outpatient physical therapy services, particularly in sports medicine.
• Experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
