Work Environment

The clinic is housed in a modern, state-of-the-art facility that spans approximately 5,000 square feet, designed to provide an optimal environment for rehabilitation and sports medicine. Our onsite setting allows for real-time collaboration among team members and easy access to advanced therapeutic equipment and technology. As part of a close-knit team that includes two additional physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will enjoy a supportive atmosphere in which to expand your professional skills while delivering outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Implement individualized treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to enhance patient recovery and mobility.
• Effectively manage a patient caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused and personalized care.
• Educate patients on safe exercise techniques and lifestyle modifications to improve their physical health and well-being.
• Monitor and document patient progress throughout their treatment journey, adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Engage in continuous communication with patients to motivate them and provide support, addressing their concerns and celebrating their achievements.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions through ongoing professional development and training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida is essential.
• No history of board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Excellent proficiency in manual therapy techniques and designing effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is required. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of diagnosis and treatment strategies for various musculoskeletal conditions, with a keen ability to implement evidence-based practices to drive patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
