Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite, providing you the opportunity to connect with patients in a private practice setting. You will work in a supportive environment surrounded by a team of fellow physiotherapy professionals. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, promoting an organized and structured approach to patient care. The convenient Orlando location helps you seamlessly integrate your professional role with the community.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify each patient's specific goals and requirements.
• Managing an efficient patient caseload, typically one patient per hour, to ensure quality care and attention.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment techniques to improve patient outcomes, focusing on mobility and pain reduction.
• Developing and executing comprehensive care plans that may incorporate modalities such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education.
• Monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and maintaining clear communication regarding treatment efficacy.
• Documenting all patient care services accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adults seeking orthopedic rehabilitation, which often includes individuals recovering from surgery, traumatic injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their mobility. Many of these patients will have private insurance, providing them access to a broad array of therapy options tailored to enhance their recovery journey.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT).
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with no record of disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based methods for exercise design and implementation.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who have:

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating hands-on competency in patient assessment and treatment.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
