Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, conducted within our fully-equipped outpatient office located in Orlando, Florida. Our work environment is collaborative and supportive, with a team culture that values open communication and continuous professional development. We see a variety of patients, primarily those covered by private medical insurance, ensuring a focused and insightful approach to rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' needs, objectives, and limitations, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring personalized and focused therapy sessions.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques including manual therapy and exercise therapy to enhance patients' mobility and function.
• Document all patient interactions and outcomes meticulously to uphold best practices and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle choices by designing individualized fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care and rehabilitation.
• Motivate patients throughout their therapy journey, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment plans for optimal results.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust care strategies as necessary based on data-driven insights.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients who are recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with individuals ranging from elite athletes to recreational enthusiasts of all ages. The ability to tailor treatment approaches to fit the unique needs of each patient is crucial in ensuring successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Holds a valid Florida license as a Physical Therapist.
• Maintains a professional record free from any disciplinary actions by licensing boards.
• Demonstrates strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of exercise protocols.
• Skilled in using WebPT EMR Software for efficient patient documentation and record management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• A track record of effectively engaging with patients to promote their rehabilitation journey.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
