Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, safe, and compassionate patient care in our rehabilitation facility, implementing evidence-based treatment strategies tailored to the needs of each patient.

• Develop, oversee, and adjust treatment plans based on individual patient evaluations and progress, ensuring that each protocol effectively addresses the needs of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries or injuries.

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments, reviewing pertinent patient histories and performing specific physical assessments to determine the most appropriate interventions.

• Document all aspects of patient care with accuracy and timeliness, including initial evaluations, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries that reflect patient progress and outcomes.

• Facilitate discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure smooth transitions for patients moving from rehabilitation back into their daily lives.

• Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory standards and corporate training requirements, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.

• Communicate openly and respectfully with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure clarity regarding patient treatment plans and progress.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case discussions to enhance collaborative care and discuss best practices within the facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including those who have undergone surgeries, sustained sports injuries, or experienced musculoskeletal disorders. Individualized care and tailored rehabilitation plans will be crucial in your role as you work towards maximizing patient outcomes and improving functional capacities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.

• Current state licensure in physical therapy as required in Florida.

• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic setting, focusing on rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Experience working in a collaborative healthcare environment and effectively communicating with diverse patient populations and interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
