Top Point Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is based at our outpatient facility in Orlando, Florida, where you will provide high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation services aimed at promoting recovery, improving mobility, and enhancing overall health.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee individualized treatment plans for orthopedic conditions, focusing on pain management, muscle function restoration, and mobility enhancement.
• Conduct precise evaluations of each client's physical capabilities through functional assessments and diagnostic tests, enabling the development of targeted therapeutic interventions.
• Direct and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants while ensuring adherence to the established care plans and facilitate their professional growth through mentoring and guidance.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and state-of-the-art modalities to deliver effective treatment directly in our clinic and support patients with customized home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to the client's rehabilitation, sharing insights and recommendations based on your observations of client progress.
• Regularly document clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Engage with clients and their families to educate them about their conditions, empower them in their recovery journey, and provide clear instructions on rehabilitation exercises and the use of any assistive devices.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and the effectiveness of treatment strategies, addressing challenges and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of the treatment environment, ensuring it remains a safe and supportive space conducive to each patient's recovery.
• Commit to professional development by continuing to expand your clinical knowledge and skills through workshops, certifications, and peer collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist with Top Point, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, and chronic pain conditions. We emphasize a holistic approach, considering not just the physical impairments but also the psychosocial factors influencing each client's health and recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, demonstrating clinical competence and a passion for helping patients.
• Current CPR certification to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with a proven track record of achieving patient-centered outcomes.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to oversee and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in their practice.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
