Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and therapeutic needs to design effective treatment plans.
• Implement and administer personalized therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, to address specific physical impairments from orthopedic conditions.
• Regularly monitor and document each patient's progress, providing updates and modifications to treatment plans based on outcomes.
• Collaborate actively with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to deliver comprehensive and cohesive care to each resident.
• Educate patients and their family members on home exercise programs and strategies to promote ongoing physical health and prevention of further injury.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant state regulations and professional standards in the delivery of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and those experiencing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. The ideal candidate will work with diverse populations, including geriatric patients, providing specialized care to facilitate their recovery and physical wellness.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective treatment plans specific to orthopedic patient needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple patient caseloads efficiently.

Preferred Experience
