Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' specific goals and physical rehabilitation needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that include various intervention strategies, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, typically treating one patient per hour, to provide personalized care and attention.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy and exercise protocols, to enhance patients' functional abilities.
• Empower patients by educating them about their conditions and encouraging proactive participation in their recovery.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to create comprehensive, multidisciplinary care strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans based on patients' progress and feedback.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes for compliance and quality assurance.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming clinic environment for patients and staff alike.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. Your efforts will focus on helping each individual regain their range of motion, strength, and overall functional capabilities. Our clinic serves patients of all ages, making it essential to adapt therapies according to their specific circumstances and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A solid professional record, characterized by integrity and no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and developing exercise protocols customized to meet individual patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is an advantage.
• Familiarity with alternative therapies and patient-centered coaching strategies to foster independence.
