Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, analyzing their physical abilities and limitations to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Provide hands-on therapy, including manual techniques and therapeutic exercises, to enhance mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Educate patients and their families about at-home exercise regimens and self-care strategies to optimize recovery and maintain progress outside the clinical setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to create a holistic approach to patient care.
• Document patient progress meticulously and maintain accurate records to track responses to treatment, making adjustments as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with a range of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation following joint replacements or sports injuries, as well as managing chronic conditions such as arthritis. You will work with a diverse population that includes active adults, seniors, and athletes, requiring tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required, with a strong preference for candidates holding advanced degrees in the field.
• Active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• At least 3 years of progressive clinical experience, encompassing a mix of internships, residencies, and professional practice, with a robust understanding of musculoskeletal conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and education.
