Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical capabilities and limitations, developing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Utilize independent judgment and years of experience to execute and modify treatment interventions effectively, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities.
• Regularly engage with patients to provide hands-on therapy in a variety of settings, adapting approaches according to their unique needs and progress.
• Maintain proactive communication with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to discuss treatment plans, progress, and any challenges encountered during therapy. Ensure that all stakeholders are informed about home exercise programs and therapeutic goals.
• Monitor patient performance and reassess needs regularly, making necessary adjustments to maximize recovery and independence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including but not limited to joint replacements, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. We serve a diverse population, including individuals with varying levels of mobility and specific rehabilitation needs. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding them through recovery, enhancing their functional abilities and nurturing their independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in physical therapy, particularly in an outpatient or home health setting.
• Strong ability to function autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining a focus on quality patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges between USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skill level.
