Work Environment

This full-time position requires onsite presence in our modern rehabilitation center, where you will work alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists. Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration while serving patients in a fast-paced and rewarding setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to recognize and understand the objectives and needs of each patient.
• Manage a patient load ensuring one-on-one treatment sessions, maintaining an hour-per-patient schedule to provide focused care.
• Develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to enhance range of motion, mobility, and strength.
• Administer cost-effective therapies that prioritize non-surgical interventions over medication wherever possible.
• Create and modify customized wellness and fitness programs according to individual patient requirements.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment process to foster optimal recovery and functionality.
• Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
• Employ electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to track patient progress, document treatments, and adjust care based on data.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adapt methodologies based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for each patient encounter in line with regulatory standards and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. A focus on personalized care ensures that each treatment plan effectively addresses the specific challenges and goals of the individual, whether they are an athlete returning to their sport or an elderly patient seeking improved mobility.

Qualifications

• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist in Florida is essential.
• A Master's degree (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions related to the license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in designing and implementing tailored exercise programs.
• Ability to adapt to the use of EMR software for documenting patient interactions and treatment progress.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is advantageous.
• Proficiency in holistic and innovative treatment approaches that rely on the latest research and clinical practice.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is competitive, with a salary range between USD 80,000 and 95,000 annually, depending on experience and skill level. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
