Work Environment

The therapy sessions will be conducted onsite within our modern rehabilitation facility, designed to enhance therapeutic practices. Our center emphasizes teamwork and collaboration among its staff, currently comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). The facility encompasses over 5000 square feet of space equipped for advanced sports medicine practices, allowing us to deliver exceptional therapeutic services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently assess and identify patients' unique needs and objectives through comprehensive evaluations.
• Manage a manageable caseload of one patient per hour to ensure individualized attention and effective treatment.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving optimal functional outcomes.
• Deliver high-quality therapy sessions that include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and innovative interventions.
• Encourage patients to explore cost-effective non-surgical options to enhance their mobility and reduce medication reliance.
• Motivate individuals throughout their treatment journey, providing education on proper techniques and lifestyle adjustments.
• Document all patient care services accurately and clearly to ensure continuity of care and accurate tracking of progress.
• Collaborate with the broader healthcare team, including physicians and specialists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care strategies.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness, regularly evaluate patient progress, and adjust care plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients experiencing orthopedic issues, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our clientele mostly holds private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on delivering top-tier personalized care without being limited by constraints. Your expertise will significantly impact their recovery experiences and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid and current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A clean professional record with no prior board or disciplinary actions against the license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and creation/execution of exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with Healthcare Technology, including proficiency in WebPT EMR Software.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly valued.
• Demonstrated ability to implement successful therapeutic interventions for diverse patient needs.
• Previous experience with caseload management and multidisciplinary teamwork is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
