In this full-time position, you will work directly with patients in our Orlando, Florida outpatient facility. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, establishing their goals and needs.
• Manage personalized caseloads, typically one patient per hour, ensuring dedicated attention and care.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans incorporating manual therapy, exercises, and state-of-the-art rehabilitation techniques.
• Provide evidence-based interventions aiming to restore range of motion and functional mobility.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain up-to-date records to track progress and outcomes.
• Motivate patients, offering encouragement and guidance throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, consulting with physicians and other healthcare providers to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness, making adjustments to care plans as necessary to better meet patients' needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Our patient population includes individuals of various ages and backgrounds, each requiring individualized care plans tailored to their specific rehabilitation journey. Your work will directly contribute to reducing their reliance on medications and enhancing their functional independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida is mandatory.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions related to your practice.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience with diverse patient populations, including geriatrics and athletes, will be beneficial.
• A background in developing specialized fitness and wellness programs tailored to patient needs is preferred.
