Work Environment

The role is primarily onsite, where you will work in a bright and well-equipped outpatient office. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients, utilizing clinical interviews, functional tests, and diagnostic information to formulate customized treatment plans.
• Implement a range of evidence-based interventions such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to address specific patient needs.
• Document patient progress meticulously according to clinic protocols and regulatory standards, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on observed outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, progress expectations, injury prevention strategies, and wellness practices to promote active participation in their recovery.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, and other healthcare stakeholders to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimized outcomes.
• Participate in case reviews and meetings aimed at enhancing patient care satisfaction and clinic efficiencies.
• Stay informed about advancements in physical therapy practices to continually enhance personal skills and the clinic's service offerings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Emerald Valley PT, you will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals seeking treatment for orthopedic conditions. This includes athletes recovering from sports injuries, adults needing rehabilitation after surgeries, and patients suffering from chronic pain. On average, you will see 5-7 patients daily, allowing for in-depth interactions and meaningful contributions to their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting; however, new graduates with clinical rotations in orthopedics are encouraged to apply.
• Proven proficiency in therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and functional movement assessments.
• Excellent communication skills that facilitate building rapport with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain digital documentation and patient communication.
• Background in orthopedic rehabilitation and familiarity with post-operative protocols.
• Engagement in professional development opportunities, such as workshops and certifications relevant to orthopedic physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We are proud to offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, which is accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
