Work Environment

Our Rehabilitation Center is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and therapy tools, aimed at creating an efficient and effective treatment environment. As a Physical Therapist here, you will work within a forward-thinking and supportive team of healthcare professionals in a lively outpatient clinic atmosphere. The hours for this position are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a standard work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of new patients to develop tailored rehabilitation programs that address their specific needs and goals.
• Administer one-on-one therapy sessions, focusing on restoring mobility and improving patients' physical function through a variety of evidence-based techniques.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, ensuring each individual receives the attention required for optimal recovery.
• Create and implement customized exercise regimens and fitness programs that enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Incorporate manual therapy techniques and non-invasive modalities to aid in pain management and functional improvement.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to accommodate changing needs.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, athletic trainers, and occupational therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Document treatment sessions diligently using EMR software, with a strong emphasis on detail to support patient continuity of care.
• Contribute to case discussions and clinical meetings to share insights and strategies that enhance team effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse patient population, including active adults, athletes recovering from injuries, and individuals with chronic pain or mobility issues. Your role will involve helping these patients restore their functional abilities and achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold a current and valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Florida.
• No history of sanctions or board proceedings affecting licensure.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of therapeutic exercise.
• Familiarity with using electronic medical records (EMR), particularly WebPT, for precise documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
• Experience designing and implementing successful, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Proficiency in treating orthopedic conditions and a passion for sports-related rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
