Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical abilities to establish individualized treatment goals and plans.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, with an expectation of one-on-one therapy sessions focusing on hands-on treatment.
• Utilize advanced physical therapy techniques, including functional movement training and manual therapy, to facilitate recovery and enhance patient outcomes.
• Design and implement custom wellness programs that integrate exercises aimed at improving strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their rehabilitation process to ensure adherence to treatment protocols and promote long-term health benefits.
• Document and monitor patient's progress to assess the effectiveness of treatment, making necessary adjustments to care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to provide comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment strategies.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay current on best practices in physical therapy related to orthopedic treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. Most patients visit us through referrals from primary care doctors and orthopedic specialists who trust our expertise in restoring physical function. Your commitment to patient care and rehabilitation will directly influence their quality of life and return to normal activities.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no record of disciplinary action.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop tailored exercise programs based on individual patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of rehabilitation principles, particularly in managing musculoskeletal conditions.
• Experience in applying evidence-based practices and developing creative solutions for complex patient cases.

Compensation and Benefits

For this full-time position, the annual salary ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Comprehensive benefits include:
