Work Environment

This position operates primarily onsite with patients in their homes, offering a dynamic work setting that combines clinical best practices with the flexibility of home care. As part of our team, you will be equipped with all necessary tools and resources to effectively assess and treat patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, establishing a tailored treatment plan that addresses individual recovery needs.
• Utilize a diverse array of therapeutic methods, including exercise regimens, hands-on techniques, and state-of-the-art equipment to improve patients' mobility and alleviate pain.
• Document and track treatment protocols, patient responses, and milestones achieved throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Regularly reassess individual therapeutic goals, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Advise patients and their families on the use of assistive devices for improved daily function, providing essential training on their implementation.
• Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge and competencies through ongoing education, workshops, and active participation in relevant health and therapy organizations.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to enhance holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to support patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Our clientele includes individuals from varying age groups and physical backgrounds, each requiring personalized care plans that address their unique rehabilitation challenges. As an orthopedic specialist, you will engage with patients who may have limited mobility due to conditions such as hip or knee replacements, fractures, sports injuries, or degenerative diseases.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interactions with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Proficient in using technology, such as electronic medical records systems and basic computer applications.
• An agile, flexible approach to work, allowing for adaptive responses to patient needs in a dynamic homecare setting.
• While previous experience is valuable, we encourage new graduates to apply; mentorship opportunities are available.

Preferred Experience

• Ideally, candidates will have two years of experience in outpatient therapy settings or home healthcare environments.
• Familiarity with orthopedic assessment tools and rehabilitation techniques is preferred.
• Experience in home care, specifically with the geriatric population or patients with mobility impairments, is considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
