Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite in the homes of our patients across Orlando and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in a home care environment to determine their physical therapy needs and develop effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise programs, stretching maneuvers, and manual therapy, to alleviate pain and enhance mobility for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
• Implement treatment strategies targeting specific therapeutic goals, allowing patients to achieve their maximum potential for physical functioning.
• Maintain detailed records of patient progress, responses to treatments, and any modifications to treatment plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Regularly reassess patient conditions and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation techniques, assistive devices, and the importance of compliance with therapy protocols.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, attending educational workshops and engaging with professional networks to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes a wide range of individuals with orthopedic conditions, such as post-operative recovery from joint replacements, sports injuries, and age-related musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), with certification from the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a licensed physical therapist, with a strong emphasis on orthopedic care.
• Current certification in CPR, ensuring readiness for emergency situations in a patient care context.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health care settings, familiar with the unique challenges and dynamics of providing therapy in a patient's residence.
• Proven ability to develop and implement patient-centric rehabilitation plans tailored to individual needs and circumstances.
