Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite, operating within a home care setting, where you will provide therapy in the comfort of our patients' homes in the Orlando area. This unique environment allows you to deliver personalized care while fostering strong relationships with clients. Your work schedule will be structured from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, providing you with a balance between professional responsibilities and personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and establish measurable goals to facilitate optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic maneuvers and modalities to enhance patient mobility and functionality.
• Develop customized care plans that include preventative strategies, treatment approaches, and rehabilitation protocols tailored to individual patients.
• Implement and monitor fitness programs focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, adapting techniques as necessary to meet each patient's evolving needs.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding their therapy and progress, empowering them to take an active role in their health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, referring cases to other health professionals when necessary to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans based on measurable improvements and feedback.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle among clients, motivating them to engage in wellness initiatives outside of their therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Orthopedic Physical Therapist will primarily work with patients experiencing musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, including but not limited to post-operative recovery, chronic pain management, and degenerative disorders. Your role will be pivotal in helping these individuals regain independence and improve their functionality, working closely with them to understand their specific rehabilitation goals and motivations.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• At least two years of professional experience in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficient with patient assessments, treatment planning, and the execution of direct patient care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with patients, caregivers, and healthcare partners.
• Ability to manage a diverse patient demographic, exhibiting flexibility and empathy based on individual personality types.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with telehealth platforms and digital health technologies would be advantageous.
• Background in developing community outreach programs focused on health promotion.
• Familiarity with current trends in orthopedic therapy and rehabilitation methods.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, along with performance-based bonuses.
