Work Environment

This position is set in an onsite home care environment where you will travel to patients' homes throughout Goldenrod and the surrounding areas. The flexibility of home care allows us to accommodate the schedules of patients while delivering essential physical therapy services directly to them.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, identifying their personal goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and care to each patient.
• Develop comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and function.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic interventions designed to enhance range of motion and reduce discomfort.
• Encourage patients to engage in non-surgical options and promote methods to decrease reliance on medications.
• Formulate and oversee customized fitness and wellness programs that address individual patient needs.
• Motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, reinforcing positive lifestyle changes that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes consistently, monitoring progress and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all patient care services in compliance with relevant standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, or seeking rehabilitation after injury. The demographic reflects a wide range of ages and physical abilities, requiring a highly adaptable approach to treatment. Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Hold a valid licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Maintain an exemplary professional record with no disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Exhibit exceptional skill in creating and implementing individualized exercise regimens.
• Be familiar with WebPT EMR software for patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience within an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to effectively communicate medical concepts to patients and families.
• Experience in developing comprehensive care plans across diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits

Maximum Motion Physical Therapy Services offers a competitive salary range between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
