Work Environment

This role is designed as an onsite position in the vibrant Sanford, Florida area, where you will work directly within patients' homes. You will be supported by a well-trained care team and provided access to state-of-the-art equipment and resources. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' orthopedic needs to develop customized physical therapy treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapies and interventions as outlined in the care plan provided by physicians, adhering to agency policy and professional standards.
• Deliver high-quality treatments that include comprehensive patient assessments, treatment planning, execution, and ongoing evaluation.
• Educate patients and their families on at-home treatment exercises and injury prevention strategies.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation, ensuring all relevant information is communicated effectively to other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care.
• Foster a therapeutic atmosphere that encourages patient motivation and compliance with their rehabilitation goals.
• Engage in ongoing collaborative care with other medical professionals to refine treatment strategies and enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role will be treating patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals of all ages, customizing approaches to suit their specific rehabilitation needs. This position not only allows you to facilitate their recovery but also empowers patients through education and support.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR are mandatory.
• Strong background in treating musculoskeletal conditions and a proficiency in various therapeutic modalities.
• Proficient in computer skills including electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
