Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools and techniques.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment programs aimed at restoring function, improving mobility, relieving pain, and preventing long-term disabilities.
• Document treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information accurately and efficiently within our electronic medical record system.
• Perform screenings for conditions that may include lymphedema, fall risks, and overall rehabilitation needs.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Contribute to the clinic's education initiatives by participating in presentations, publications, and mentoring students or interns.
• Maintain open communication with patients and their families to ensure understanding of treatment plans and goals, empowering them throughout their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those managing chronic pain, and pediatric patients with developmental needs. Your ability to adapt treatment plans based on the specific challenges faced by each patient will be crucial in delivering effective therapy that positively impacts their life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy License in Florida.
• Strong foundational knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques to effectively address specialized patient needs.
• Experience working with pediatric patients, along with a familiarity of hospital medicine practices.
• Ability to work comfortably in both clinical and hospital environments, providing high-quality inpatient care.

Preferred Experience

• One or more years of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Experience implementing treatment programs for various patient populations, including geriatrics and pediatrics.
• Strong collaborative skills, with experience working in a team-oriented healthcare environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, accompanied by a range of comprehensive benefits:
