Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their needs, physical condition, and rehabilitation goals, leveraging advanced assessment tools and methodologies.
• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's unique requirements, including both orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses.
• Implement treatment interventions designed to enhance mobility, strength, and functional independence while continually monitoring patient progress.
• Thoroughly document evaluations, treatment plans, re-evaluations, and discharge summaries in line with departmental standards to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
• Utilize sophisticated software systems to objectively measure and analyze patient outcomes, making data-driven decisions to modify treatment as necessary.
• Foster positive relationships with patients, providing education and encouragement as they progress through their rehabilitation journey.
• Participate in department meetings and case discussions to share insights and strategies aimed at enhancing patient care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
• A valid and current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida, or a temporary permit accepted as an interim measure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Healthcare Provider certification.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience working in orthopedic rehabilitation settings and those familiar with evidence-based treatment modalities will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and experience using software for patient outcome measurement can enhance the effectiveness of your role.

Compensation and Benefits
