Senior Account Manager – Build our US Presence (Google / Tech Focus) The role Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can build something from the ground up? We are an independent, full-service agency of 200+ people headquartered in Sydney, Australia, and we’re looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our growing US team in the Bay Area. You will work closely with our Senior Account Director in the States to help us grow our presence in San Francisco. This is a unique "best of both worlds" opportunity: you get the autonomy and pioneering spirit of an early-stage startup, backed by the stability, resources, and established creative talent of a globally-recognized agency. Is this for you? This role is for a self-starter. Because we are growing our US footprint, you will be part of a small, focused team. This means you will have a high degree of ownership and influence, but it also means you need to be comfortable working with a high level of autonomy. If you are someone who thrives on building systems, loves navigating ambiguity, and doesn’t mind remote collaboration across time zones, you’ll love the impact you can make here. While you will be physically close to the action with our US clients, you will have the full remote support and camaraderie of our Sydney HQ and London incubator, ensuring you are never truly flying solo. What you’ll be doing You will lead integrated content and campaigns across web, email, video, social, events, sales enablement, and internal initiatives for our key Google clients. Own the client relationship: Interrogate briefs, negotiate budgets, and earn trust as a proactive, solutions-oriented partner who helps clients achieve their KPIs. Build the "new": Partner with our strategists, creatives, and producers (based in Sydney and London) to deliver brilliant strategic and creative outputs. Manage complexity: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, from end-to-end, maintaining high standards for budgets and timelines. Grow the account: Identify new opportunities for growth and proactively raise them to help your clients’ business flourish. Embrace AI: Utilize our proprietary AI frameworks to elevate your strategic thinking and streamline your workflow. The requirements Experience: 3-4+ years of agency/marketing experience (digital/tech background preferred but not essential). Mindset: You are entrepreneurial and resilient. You don’t need a manual to know what to do next—you define it. Collaboration: You have a track record of building strong relationships internally and with clients. You are comfortable working in an agile, iterative manner. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication; you are confident presenting to senior stakeholders. Flexibility: You are happy working from home 2-3 days a week and are comfortable working in a hybrid environment with your team and clients in office or shared spaces in San Francisco and the Bay Area.
