Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary assessments and interviews, documenting all relevant client history and treatment journey from initial assessment to discharge.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health to inform treatment decisions.

• Develop personalized intervention and recovery plans for diverse populations including individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies tailored to meet clients' unique needs.

• Monitor client progress meticulously throughout the treatment process, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to ensure cohesive treatment planning.

• Communicate with clients' healthcare providers in cases involving hospital admissions for coordinated care.

• Identify and mitigate behavioral challenges that may hinder recovery, providing support to clients and their families to improve mental health management.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing chronic mental health issues, couples dealing with relational struggles, families experiencing crises, and groups seeking support for shared challenges. Your role will be pivotal in creating safe spaces for these clients, allowing them to express themselves and develop healthier coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW within the state of Florida.

• Successful completion of necessary examinations such as the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience in a mental health counseling setting, providing direct client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
