Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to understand the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms and establish a baseline for treatment.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that align with their specific goals and personal circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective interventions for mood disorders.

• Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families, addressing concerns related to mood disorders, available treatments, and self-care practices.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving needs.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to care for your clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research, treatment strategies, and methodologies in mood disorder interventions to ensure best practice adherence.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment modifications to comply with industry regulations and uphold ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and various anxiety-related conditions. Understanding the diverse backgrounds and experiences of your clients will be essential in crafting effective therapeutic relationships and interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

• Proficient in utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches, specifically CBT and DBT.

• A solid foundational understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
