Office Assistant

LOCATION: New York, NY (in office Monday-Friday) HOURS: 8:45AM-5:30PM with some flexibility COMPENSATION: $60K - 90K (DOE) + Discretionary Bonus + Great Benefits/Perks BACHELOR'S DEGREE: Required Our client, a private equity firm located in Midtown, Manhattan, is seeking an organized and diligent individual to join the team. They are looking for a mature candidate who is able to adapt and think on their feet. As the Office Assistant, you will be greeting guests and executives, managing operations, and ensuring the office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities Monitor the day’s guest flow and meeting schedule closely. Greet visitors promptly, direct them to the correct room, and notify the internal host. Coordinate security clearance as needed for visitors, interview candidates, technicians, or other external parties. Restock the kitchen and pantry as necessary, paying special attention on busy meeting days. Order office supplies and snacks via Fresh Direct and Costco. Reset conference rooms after meetings, keeping them presentation ready at all times. Set up AV requirements for meetings. Order weekly lunches and catering for meetings; set up and break down of meals. Assist with onboarding support i.e. desk set up, sending out appropriate equipment, etc. Track receipts and expenses for the office. Manage company website i.e. updating information, uploading new photos, etc. Assist with IT support as needed. Ad-hoc projects as needed. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree required 1-2 years professional experience, preferably within financial services. Strong Microsoft Office skills are a must; familiarity with AI software & SharePoint a plus Excellent verbal communication skills and professional phone manner Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting Reliable, punctual, and flexible Proactive attitude with “no task too small mentality” #J-18808-Ljbffr
