Key Responsibilities\n

As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychological assessments to gauge clients’ specific mental health conditions and customized needs based on their cancer diagnosis and treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with cancer patients, supporting them through various stages of their treatment such as initial diagnosis, ongoing management, potential recurrences, survivorship, and end-of-life care. Understanding the emotional and psychological toll of cancer is crucial; therefore, you will need to tailor your therapeutic approaches to fit the diverse experiences of each individual and their families.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• An active license to practice in Washington state as either a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, as verified by a third-party background check.

• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience\n

Mind Ease Advocate Mental Health Services offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000, depending on caseload and experience.
