Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in our outpatient treatment center focused on providing evidence-based therapy for young adults. Your main duties include:

• Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging group sessions that promote connection and shared learning among clients. You will foster an environment where clients feel safe to express themselves and receive peer support.

• Individual Therapy: Provide individualized therapy sessions that focus on exploring clients' thoughts and feelings. You will utilize various therapeutic techniques to help clients develop coping strategies and create actionable plans towards their goals.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and cater to their unique needs. Your expertise will guide clients on their paths to recovery.

• Progress Monitoring: Assess and track clients' progress through various evaluation methods and tools, ensuring that each client receives feedback that informs their ongoing treatment.

• Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other therapists. You will communicate regularly about client cases, coordinate care, and devise strategies to tackle complex challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often faces a range of mental health challenges, and your compassionate, expert guidance will be pivotal in their recovery journeys. You will address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges, tailoring your approach to foster a supportive and healing atmosphere.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling or a related field and possess a current Arizona LPC license. Your background should include a deep understanding of mental health issues and demonstrated skills in therapy and client engagement.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in a mental health outpatient setting or working specifically with young adults will be advantageous. Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is also preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will enhance your ability to provide attentive client management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
