Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate parent support groups, creating therapeutic environments where caregivers can discuss their challenges and share resources.

• Provide specialized training sessions for parents of children with mental health needs—equipping them with strategies tailored to address issues related to parenting and adopting prenatally substance-exposed children.

• Conduct temperament counseling designed to help parents better understand their children’s emotional and behavioral needs.

• Perform developmental evaluations of children to assess their growth and identify any necessitated interventions or resources.

• Maintain meticulous records of services rendered, ensuring all documentation meets both clinical standards and the timely reporting requirements of the organization.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals, educational specialists, and case managers, to implement comprehensive care plans for children and families.

• Promote community resources and programs that can support families in their parenting journey and enhance their overall health and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary engagement will be with families navigating the complexities of mental health challenges, with a focus on young children. Patients may include those involved in the adoption process, children exposed to substances prenatally, and families seeking help with a range of psychological and developmental issues. You will be at the forefront of transforming lives, offering support that is both compassionate and scientifically informed.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program.

• A valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license, with no restrictions.

• A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a healthcare setting, with at least 1 year in a mental health environment.

• Strong background in parent-child interventions, preferably with experience addressing diverse family dynamics.

• Solid understanding of child development, parenting principles, and the impacts of child abuse or neglect.

Compensation and Benefits\n
