Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to client needs, ensuring a personalized and therapeutic environment.

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments to accurately gauge clients' mental health status and treatment needs, adapting approaches as necessary.

• Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage actively in team-based processes, sharing insights and contributing to the overall treatment strategies for clients.

• Proactively monitor clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans and interventions based on real-time feedback and observed outcomes.

• Maintain thorough and confidential client records in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapeutic services cater primarily to children, adolescents, and families confronting substance abuse and mental health challenges. Working with diverse clients, you'll employ relational and systemic approaches to therapy, integrating cultural competence into your practice to meet their unique backgrounds and experiences. You will play a critical role in fostering trust and rapport, helping clients navigate their journeys towards healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related mental health field is required.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, with no suspensions or probation status.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership role within an outpatient clinical setting, providing relational therapy.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing a calming atmosphere conducive to therapeutic progress.

Preferred Experience\n

• Additional training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) methodologies is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
