Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients dealing with mood disorders, assessing the intensity, frequency, and impact of their symptoms on daily functioning.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals, employing evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families on managing mood disorders, treatment modalities, and effective self-care strategies, fostering an environment of understanding and support.

• Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes; maintain clear and accurate documentation that adheres to ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in an integrated care approach, working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A current, active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
