Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to understand their presenting issues and design personalized treatment programs tailored to their needs.

• Provide individual, couples, and family counseling sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and family systems therapy.

• Maintain precise and confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations while tracking progress and outcomes of therapy.

• Engage in continuous professional training to remain abreast of emerging best practices in family therapy and mental health care.

• Facilitate support groups and workshops focusing on specific issues such as communication skills, conflict resolution, and relationship enhancement.

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, referring clients to additional services when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population including individuals facing a variety of familial and relationship challenges, mental health disorders, and situational crises. Your expertise will help clients build resilience, enhance communication, and restore relationships, thereby significantly improving their quality of life. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n
