Assistant Property Manager

Client: Well-Known Real Estate Company
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days/week after training; fully onsite during training)
Salary: $75,000

A well-known real estate company is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support a residential portfolio of cooperative and condominium properties. This role will partner with Property Managers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, maintain strong resident relationships, and coordinate administrative and operational activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily management of cooperative and condominium properties.
• Coordinate apartment alteration requests, documentation, approvals, and project tracking.
• Manage resident services, including move-ins/move-outs, amenity reservations, BuildingLink updates, and resident communications.
• Respond to resident inquiries and assist with billing, chargebacks, and general property-related requests.
• Prepare board meeting materials, attend meetings as needed, and maintain meeting records.
• Monitor compliance deadlines and maintain property documentation and regulatory records.
• Support accounts payable by processing invoices, reimbursements, and payment requests.
• Maintain vendor, resident, and property records while coordinating with boards, contractors, and building staff.

Qualifications

• 2 years of residential property management experience, preferably with cooperative and condominium properties.
• Experience with BuildingLink , Yardi , and/or Avid is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
