Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote work setting, enabling you to create a flexible and comfortable work-life balance. While you will primarily engage in teletherapy, you will also participate in a supportive team of mental health professionals dedicated to collaboration and continuous improvement. Our typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs and formulate individualized treatment plans that align with their goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions that foster a sense of community while addressing prevalent mental health issues.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education to improve clinical skills and stay updated with the latest mental health research.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Atrium Health, you will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
